Plaza Mayor is part of the Colombian Association of the festival industry, congresses, conventions and similar activities – by its initials in spanish AIFEC -, committed to the development of the sector to support the formalization and professionalization of companies that invest in the festivals, congresses, conventions and similar activities development through the execution of training, updating and planning programs to produce more visibility of the sector and competences in the human resource of the industry.

EPM GREEN ENERGY

Plaza Mayor was certified by the international ERCs (I-RECs) thanks to the implementation of green energy that works in the facility through 100% renewable sources like water and wind. The facility is part of the selected group of 25 companies in the country operating with this system representing a contribution from these companies to balance their impacts on the environment and thanks to this recognition Plaza Mayor can report energy consumption with zero factor emissions in the annual greenhouse gas inventory – For its initials in Spanish GEI.
