Corporate governance
Plaza Mayor Medellín Convenciones y Exposiciones S.A. is a mixed-capital company whose main shareholder is the Distrito de Medellín. Its Board of Directors brings together representatives of the Distrito, the Instituto para el Desarrollo de Antioquia (IDEA), the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros (National Coffee Growers Federation) and the minority shareholders, who guide the strategy and safeguard the transparency of management.
