Since 2006, our convention center has been a symbol of Plaza Mayor and an architectural icon of the city. We offer a range of rooms depending on the type of celebration and the number of guests. We are in the Laureles-Estadio area, close to the most emblematic churches and the most exclusive hotels in Medellín.

The most representative
Caja de Madera
A city icon and the most representative space at Plaza Mayor. Located on the third floor of the convention center, its architecture and innovative design have made it the preferred setting for social events, concerts and special formats.
Total versatility
Gran Salón
Host to national and international gatherings, from the IDB Assembly to the World Urban Forum. A sliding panel system lets it be divided into 6 independent spaces that adapt to any type of celebration.
Open air
Plazoleta Descubierta
Next to the Caja de Madera, this open-air space expands the possibilities of the venue. Ideal for complementing and adding versatility to all kinds of activities and celebrations.
