What is Plaza Mayor and what services does it offer?
Plaza Mayor Medellín is the city’s convention and exhibition center. We promote and produce national and international events, and we rent spaces for meetings, trade shows, exhibitions and corporate events. We also offer food and beverage services, setup, connectivity and event planning.
Where is Plaza Mayor located?
We are in downtown Medellín, at Calle 41 N° 55-80. Getting here is easy by Metro, at the Alpujarra and Exposiciones stations, and by Metroplús, at the Plaza Mayor station. See all routes in Getting here.
Is there parking on site?
Yes. We have more than 700 spaces spread across several zones of the venue. Check hours by zone and rates in the Parking section.
What types of events can I hold at Plaza Mayor?
Congresses, trade shows, conventions, and business, academic and cultural events, as well as social events such as graduations, celebrations and weddings. We have 20 spaces to fit every format. Explore them in Spaces.
How can I get a quote for my event?
Fill out the quote request form with your event details and a sales executive will contact you to put together a proposal tailored to you.
Where can I see the events calendar?

How do I submit a petition, complaint or claim?
Through our Citizen services channel you can file your PQRSD (petitions, complaints, claims, suggestions and reports) and track it with your case number.
How do I register as a supplier or contractor?
We post our contracting opportunities on the Medellín Mayor’s Office portal. There you can register and take part in open processes through the opportunities search.
